Now the topic has gone from Toast watching someone else’s children to “snooping’” into your children’s lives.
Even though I am not a parent, I feel that parents should keep a close eye on what their children do. We are at an age where anyone has easy access to anyone else, including pedophiles and children.
Yes, the children will hate it and hold a huge grudge against you if caught but most children don’t know the threats that are out there until it is too late. If you find a Playboy, eh, I wouldn’t sweat it. That is healthy. But, learn the acronyms (there are sites on this), like LMIRL (Let’s Meet In Real Life), LOL (Laughing Out Loud), etc.. Learn the phrases so you know what they’re talking about.
A few sites:
Unless you find something drastic (illegal pictures etc..) I wouldn’t confront them on what you find but instead, talk to them about that situation. Say you see chat logs between your child and an adult. Don’t confront them on this but take an opportunity to talk to them about the dangers of people on the internet and don’t forget to listen to them. Treat them like an adult while talking to them.
Parents need to be involved with their children’s activities.
I tried to call into the show to talk about this important aspect but they didn’t have time for my call (45 minutes on hold).

Paul just said the game, “You Can’t Win” will be back for their fall lineup. I’m not sure exactly when that is but I’m assuming sometime in the fall.
I can’t wait.

Today’s main topic, can Toast borrow someone’s baby for one day (and he would have 5 babies for 5 days in a row) to see if he and his wife / GF can manage taking care of a child. So far they have three volunteers to allow Toast to watch his children for a day.
Honestly, I’m finding this quite entertaining. I don’t have a problem with it. Ron is claiming that the mothers are leaving their child with a stranger but as Paul said, it’s not like they’re leaving them off with a stranger at the bus stop.
The corporate office of Clear Channel shot down the idea (in a big way) that they cannot let Toast “borrow” a baby (but they did mention that they think the show sounds good). This happened about 8:30, I’m suprised that they (the office) was working that early.
It also seems that there are a few fellow New Englanders there in the show. Where was the prep school? Please do not say Phillips-Exeter Academy.

Yep, there is no You Can’t Win today, OMG is eating some rather disgusting food (although the avacado shake didn’t sound that bad).
But, toothpaste and baby powder? That is really gross.
Mike’s Ratings (I might miss a few of these since I am at work):
1 being the least disgusting, 10 being the worst.
0 being something Mike would definately eat again.
- “Rooster Fries” (Testicles) : 0 (”Tastes like chicken” OMG would eat it again)
- Buttered Cow’s Hoof: 1
- Avacado Milkshake : 1
- Beef Tripe (Stomach lining) : 2
- Chicken Feet :3
- Roasted Marrow Bone : 4
- Pickled Octopus : (Rating not said on the webcast though the Gater)
- Limburger cheese w/ onions and strawberries sandwich : 7?
- Goat’s Head (Brain) : 7
- Squid Chips : 8 (Paul at some and had to leave the stuido “The worst thing he’s ever had in his life”)
- Toothpaste and baby powder: 8 (Possibly disqualified since it is not technically food
- Belut (sp?) - Duck Embryo (partially developed): 8.5(Mike spit it out or threw up
I am getting sick just thinking of this one)
- Goat’s Head (Eye) : 9? (Tastes like warm mayonaise but due to the technical difficulties I missed OMG’s rating)
Quotes of the week:
Steve: “He’s gone from eating balls to sucking on a bone”
Steve: I’d eat the testicles.
Paul: But that’s normal for you.
Steve: But I normally don’t swallow

He said it was going to be at the very earliest Monday before the new season starts up which (in my opinion) is rather fast. They’ll just need to come up with new questions and get new sponsors.
Take your time guys, even though we all look forward to this game, we don’t want it to end too quickly.
Good luck with the new season. I’ll find something to fill up the time, maybe make some posts about the show, too bad I missed most of Jenner’s visit / comeback yesterday, it was nice to hear him again.

Now that this season is over (Jeff got question #6 correct), I can assume that activity on this site will drop. Traffic has picked up on this site, frim 30-40 hits a day to over 100 hits a day over the past week.
I do plan to be here when the next season starts up. I wil archive the old pages (I may just have the correct answers) and get set up for the new set of questions but Paul didn’t mention when the new season may start up.
Again, congratulations to Jeff for winning the game show, as they said it was the shortest You Can’t Win yet (93 days). This site was started the day question #3 was answered.
I will still listen to the show at work daily (except when I have to work
) and will post some blogs about the Paul & Young Ron show itself in the meantime and send the show the occasional email. Swing by the forums and say hi, maybe we can discuss what the next set of questions might be and / or what they might involve.

In the immortal words of the sound clip:
I’m sure you’re all with me when I say congratulations you son of a bitch
Jeff got all six questions correct today. Good job guy, too bad I was caller #1 and #3.
(I had a few cell phones dialing in as well as a few office phones).

You be the judge!
Rob clearly said “bicentennial” when the correct answer for question #2 was centennial.
But, Rob did get question #5 correct, Tarpon Bend in Fort Lauderdale has a picture of Paul but no picture of Ron.
You be the judge - I think they should have cut him off at question #2 since people have been dumped for not saying “The city of Palm Beach” (instead, they said “Palm Beach”). I’e seen people be dumped for getting a lot closer than this.

So, it seems that the sportscaster of WIOD, Dave Lamont, was let go. What is Clear Channel doing? It’s sad to see him go but maybe CC has good reasons for this or did he get another job?
It looks like he got into an argument with one of the program directors at 610AM and was “let go” due to this. It looks like we won’t be enjoying him on the Paul & Young Ron show anymore.
I should have noticed something was missing the past few days. Good luck, Dave. Hopefully you can quickly pick yourself back up with a good job.

Today’s caller missed yesterday when we had the correcty answer. Not only that, he gave the answer that has been shot down several times before, I do not think he is a regular listener to the show.
It’s sad to see people who are not that attached to the show still able to call in and win the prizes while those of us who listen religiously to the Paul and Young Ron show rarely get though.
