- 1943 - Bobby Fuller was born (I Fought The Law)
- 1964 - EMI records rejects the band “Hi-Numbers” after a test session. The band later renames themselves to “The Who”. (I bet EMI was kicking themselves for that one later on).
- 1966 - The Beach Boys hit #1 in the US with “Good Vibrations“.
- 1969 - Paul McCartney makes an official statement that he did not die after rumors were circulating about the Beatles’ death.
