  • 1944 - Rick Davies (Supertramp - keyboards / songwriter) was born.
  • 1947 - Don Henley (Eagles - drummer / singer) was born.
  • 1967 - Pat Badger (Extreme - bass) was born.
  • 1969 - Led Zeppelin was awarded a gold album for their self titled debut album.
  • 1971 - 19 days after Jim Morrison died, The Doors are awared a gold album for “L.A, Woman“.
  • 1972 - “Eagles” LP hits the US top 40. Nice 25th birthday preset for Don.
  • 1973 - Daniel Jones (Savage Garden) was born.
  • 2007 - Tom Schultz (Boston) receives the “Celebrity Animal Advocate of the Year” award at the national animal rights conference in L.A. Tom dedicates the award to the late Bradley Delp who took his on life in March, 2007 due to his commitment to “ethical vegetarianism” over 30 years prior to bring awareness to cruelty to animals.
  • 2008 - Candlebox release their comeback album “Into the Sun“.
  • 2008 - Remastered version of U2’s first three albums, “Boy“, “October“, and “War” are released as a single CD, vinyl, or a 2-CD set (including B-sides and outtakes).
