Christian Bale’s outburst (audio)
I’ve found the audio for the Christian Bale outburst but I feel I should include a warning.
This is not work safe – this is the uncensored version!
There are several f-bombs and it is long.
There, and now…

Welcome back everyone!
Welcome back to the new year (and happy New Year all).
I noticed this morning that they mentioned that everyone has been off for the past two weeks except retail. I wish that was true. The customer service reps where I work had to be in so that meant I (the IT guy) had to be in also (plus I support retail). But – I will admit, after spending many years in retail, the holidays are the fastest, most stressful, and worst time of year to work (unless you’re commissioned!). If you currently work in retail, feel free to share some horror stories on Customers Suck (this is a great site for ranting about customers that suck, BTW).
Next item up for bids – the Dolphins standing ovation. While I’m no football fan (I’ll wait for people to stop throwing tomatoes at me), I will admit that the Dolphins did an INCREDIBLE job this year and beat everyone’s expectations, I’ll even give a kudos to all of the die hard fans who stood by them last year (2007-2008) when they had one of their worst seasons ever, I’d say this is the best turnaround of all time. They deserve the standing ovation, great job Dolphins (players, coaches, and trainers).
To attend the standing ovation – the address is :7500 SW 30th St (Miami?)
Next – Snuggies. I’ll admit, these have little use here in south Florida. You might use it once a year here and that’s it. if I lived back up north then I might have a different opinion.
Paul’s puppy – I pay he did NOT get it from a puppy store plus he should have gotten a real dog – a shepherd.
As for the dog going to the bathroom in the crate (not a cage) – feed him in the crate.
Fruitcakes
Just an FYI –
Fruit cakes make great projectile weapons in fact, I’m pretty sure there’s evidence of them being used in medieval catapults.
Interviews or no interviews?
Personally, I think a lot of them can be quite entertaining and fun. Good examples are always Frank Calliendo, Matt Damon, and even Bill Murry was good during who do you know famous. But some of them do go downhill (and sometimes they are more entertaining) like Tonya Harding and Joe the plumber.
Any other thoughts? Feel free to post on the forums.
Toast has never been to the Keys..
There is a simple solution to this. If his wife works every Saturday then that means she has a weekday off.
The solution is, they both go to the show at 6AM and then, when the show starts, Toast starts to drive to the Keys. He should keep his phone on, or his wife could use it (whoever isn’t driving or use a heaset) and report back in every now and then (15-30 minutes?).
He shouldn’t hit any serious traffic while leaving since he’ll be south of Miami by 7-7:30 (he might hit a little but that’s it).
He should definately report back when he gets to Key West (and I mean Old Town, Key West, not the fake Key West). I can even give him the name of a bar / resturant that a friend of mine works at and Toast could spend the day (head home by 5:00-6:00PM).
And yes, redneck olympics did stink. I’m sure it could be a hit with better planning (like the stereotypical olympics).
Paul is going to be jealous.
Yeah, Paul is going to be jealous when he reads this.
I’ve met Steven King.
Twice.
I went to college at the University of Maine in Orono (about 5 miles north of Bangor). The first time he came to my literature class to give a lecture and a Q&A (after we read “The Body”). The second time was at a UMaine hockey celebration / rally (college sponsored since they were on the way to (and did win) the NCAA championship.
The Mayfair Hotel and Spa interview
This has got to be one of the best interviews ever!
The Mayfair Hotel and Spa interview!
This has also made me decide to add in a “sound bytes” page (link is in the right column under pages).
Mancathalon?
What is it?
I guess they post a question online and then take callers to try to answer the question(s)?
They continue to ask you questions – it seems like each person can either take the money and run or try to answer the next question for more money (but if you get a question wrong then you lose all the money).
Today, the first day, was Andy.
These two JFK guys were both born today in 1946 – who are they? (Andy is going to miss it).
There will be a new question for tomorrow.
I really hope this is not replacing You Can’t Win.
